Danny went to camp for the summer.
丹尼要去参加夏令营了。
He took along his friend the dinosaur.
他还带上了他的朋友恐龙。
“Camp is fun. you will enjoy it,” said Danny.
丹尼说：“夏令营是非常有趣的，你肯定会喜欢的。”
“Thanks. I needed a vacation,” said the dinosaur.
恐龙说：“谢谢!我正好需要放松一下。”
“Welcome,” said the camp owner.
夏令营老师说：“欢迎您，"
“You're the first dinosaur we ever had here.”
"你是我们这里第一位参加夏令营的恐龙。”
Lana the leader said, “let's start with a race.
On your mark, get set, go!”
领队莱娜说：“我们开始比赛跑步吧。
站在起跑线上，准备，跑!”
The dinosaur took a step.
恐龙只跨了一步，
“you win!” shouted Danny.
丹尼大声欢呼：“你赢了!”
The children played football.
孩子们踢球，
The dinosaur ran with the ball,
恐龙却是跟着球跑。
and nobody could stop him.
没有人可以阻止他。
“touchdown!” shouted Danny.
丹尼大叫：“放下球!”
Lana took everybody to the lake.
莱娜把小朋友们带到湖边。
“Here is where we row our boats,” she said.
她说：“这就是我们划船的地方。”
The children rowed little boats.
小朋友们划着小船。
Danny rowed the dinosaur.
而丹尼却是划着恐龙。
It was time for lunch.
到了午餐时间。
“please pass the ketchup,” said Danny.
丹尼说：“请把番茄酱递给我。”
“Of course, just as soon as I finish this bottle,”
said the dinosaur.
恐龙说：“没问题，只是要等我倒完这瓶。”
After lunch everybody wrote letters home.
午餐后大家都写信回家。
“please send me my own ketchup,” Danny wrote.
丹尼写道：“请把我的番茄酱送过来。”
“Send me a pizza,” wrote the dinosaur.
恐龙写道：“请给我送个披萨。”
“Now let’s go on a hike,” said lana,
莱娜说：“现在我们开始远足项目吧。”
And everybody followed her.
每个人都跟着她。
Then Danny got tired and climbed on the dinosaur.
丹尼累了，爬到了恐龙身上。
“Wait for us!
“等等我们!
We're tired too!”
我们也累了!”
shouted the children.
孩子们大声喊道。
“Hold tight,” said the dinosaur.
