一、名词主要分为两类：可数名词和不可数名词。
1.不可数名词：单词本身没有复数形式，词前不能接 a, an及数词。
学过的不可数名词有：water milk rice juice bread
2.可数名词：单数形式前通常加a (an); 复数形式通常有下列几种情况：
(1)一般情况：名词后直接加 s 例： bag – bags
(2)以 s, x, sh, ch 结尾的名词加 es
例： bus – buses box – boxes brush – brushes watch – watches
(3)以o 结尾的名词有两种情况：
一是直接加 s (所学过的词有：zoo – zoos hippo – hippos piano – pianos video – videos)
二是加 es (所学过的词有：tomato – tomatoes potato – potatoes )
(4)以辅音字母和 y 结尾的名词，先去掉 y 再加 ies
例：family – families candy – candies
(5)以 f 或 fe 结尾的名词，先去掉 f 或 fe 再加 ves
例：knife – knives scarf – scarves leaf – leaves shelf – shelves
(6)特殊情况：
people – people Chinese – Chinese sheep – sheep
man – men woman – women postman – postmen policeman – policemen
foot – feet tooth – teeth goose – geese
child – children mouse – mice
二、代词的单复数
1. 指示代词： this – these that – those
2. 人称代词： 主格：I – we you – you he – they she -- they it—they
宾格：me – us you – you him– them her – them it – them
3. 物主代词： 名词性： my – our your—your his – their her – their its – their
形容词性： mine—ours yours – yours his – theirs hers – theirs its – theirs
三、动词be (am, is, are)的使用
我(I)用am， 你 (you) 用 are, is 用在他 (he) 她 (she) 它 (it), 单数用is, 复数要用are 。
