“What’s this?” asked Mia.
“Put something inside,” said Mom.
Mia put her book in the box.
She looked inside.
Now there were two books!
Mia put her shoes in the box.
She looked inside.
Now there were four shoes.
Mia put three pencils in the box.
She looked inside.
Now there were six pencils.
Mia put four hats in the box.
She looked inside.
Now there were eight hats.
Mia put five rocks in the box.
She looked inside.
Now there were ten rocks.
Mia put six spoons in the box.
She looked inside.
Now there were twelve spoons.
Mia put seven pieces of candy in the box.
